These are used on packaging to show if the material can be recycled. The British Retail Consortium (BRC) developed the scheme in partnership with WRAP and uses the following recycling classifications:
- Widely recycled
- Widely recycled at recycling points: check locally for kerbside
- Check local recycling
- Not currently recycled
- Recycle with carrier bags at larger stores – not at kerbside
We use the voluntary on pack recycling labels on all bottles and cans.
